Kate is a Professional Wetland Scientist with experience in envrionmental consulting in Washington, California, and Alaska. Through 10 years of experience in this field, Kate has strong expertise in wetland science that includes field delineation, functional assessment, permitting, mitigation design and monitoring. She also has expertise in preparing other forms of environmental documentation, water quality, NEPA/SEPA reviews, rare plant surveys and ecosystem restoration. Kate is well versed in federal, Washington and Oregon State, and many regional city regulations pertaining to waters/wetlands.  Kate was raised on a large cattle ranch in central South Dakota and thus has a background of rugged field experience and work ethic that she carries forward to benefit her clients today.   

 

Recent clients include public and private entities and non-profit organizations across the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys working with small projects for individual homeowners as well as teaming to complete larger scale endeavors. Significant projects to date include waters/wetlands delineations, wetland ratings, wetland and stream restoration planning and mitigation monitoring, federal, state and local environmental permitting assistance for restoration and development activities.
